A question for those who saw the game. How did our performance rate when compared to the second half at LFC?

we were poor second half and really they should have scored a couple but were shocking in front of goal

Since we last scored over 5 hours ago it's been downhill all the way.

They had one clear cut chance first half that went wide, one second half that Mig saved, everything else was through a crowd or hit and hope.

We had a one-on-one first half, a two on one second, both dealt with very well by their keeper. A draw's a fair result. Performance very up and down again, at times we cut through them but at others you'd have said it was us that came up this year. This is our big problem, first twenty minutes we were very, very comfortable but then we shit ourselves when they hit the bar. That's symptomatic of no leadership on the pitch imho.

very very fine lines, both teams could have scored, another 1-0 defeat and it would have been the end of the world, a 1-0 win and Europe would be back on the agenda

We missed 3 gerlden opportunities (Gyan), and messed up an intercepted back pass (Gyan)... started well, pretty even for the middle part, and were the better side in the last 20 mins. Defence looked fairly good, and O'Shea got his head to a couple of attacking crosses and hit the bar with a header early on.

They missed some decent chances too though.

So anyone claiming it was utter shit and doom and gloom should have a lie down in a dark room - it was pretty even and with a fit Gyan we would have won.
