went to school with phil defries, best of luck to the lad.

think ufc have balled up leaving defries vs broughton as a prelim, cause it will show who is the best heavyweight in england, cause i belive defries is the 3rd best at the min.

mind he will have to learn to give a punch cause every fight i have seen of him he just shoots for the takedown all the time, and i think broughton will play to that fact and try and keep the fight standing.

Aye he likes to grapple but so would I if I was as good as him at it.

Seen some of his submissions at the Fed brewery and he's fucking scary

First of all lets say how appalling the overall talent is on this card. £60 for the cheapest tickets when for the same amount the Americans get to see top class fighters and match ups.

I know theres been a load of pullouts but good god, other than the main event there isnt another fight on the main card that would make it onto a PPV or even SPIKE prelim show.

I was desperately looking forward to Anthony NJokunai V Paul Taylor but the latter has pulled out at short notice injured (again). I'll still be watching purely because it'll be cool to do so at reasonable hours...

Broughton will really test Phil De Vries. Diabate V Perosh will be interesting as will Pickett V Barao.

Pickett, Broughton & Maguire @ Evens are all great odds imho.
