    Default Holloway

The new Messiah as the media are making out or Phil Brown MkII.

    The latter in my opinion.

With Phil Brown it was all about him, I don't think it would ever enter Holloway's head to bollock the players on the pitch. Holloways OK in small burst I just think the media are using him for headlines and people are getting bored with it.

Brown didn't have much managerial pedigree, but Holloway (bar a few bad spells) has always looked like a decent manager to me. It won't last and we'll see where he ends up in a few years, but I don't think the two are comparable.

Mind like him or not, Brown did a good job with Hull.

He's spot on when it comes to what he said about Adams.

I like the bloke since he talks sense.

Not as bad as brown but nowhere near as good as the media are making out.

He's nothing like Brown. He has the full backing of his team, and has not signed anyone with an ego who would turn on him. His players are just happy to be there, and most likely feel like they owe it to Holloway. DJ Campbell and Luke Varney for example could never thought they would get a shot at Premier League football again, and then Holloway went and signed them specifically for that.

the only thing that could ruin it for Blackpool this season is injuries and the morons in the boardroom.

No offence to the OP but it gets on my nerves when people throw out comparisons like this without actually thinking about how they actually do compare.

Brown was a complete wanker. Holloway might act the clown on TV, but behind all that is a man who has the respect of his players.

I've met Holloway a few times over the last 10 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about him.

Yes he's a bit mad, but most 'geniuses' are. But it's harmless and theres not a nasty bone in his body.

He is immensely passionate about what he does, and has taken the knocks, and kept coming back to prove himself.

We like an underdog in this country, and he's a perfect example.

Got a lot of friends connected with Blackpool, and all the are bothered about is staying up. No delusions of grandeur. Thats the basic aim. The club is being run very sensibly, and i think that stability is clear to see on the pitch.
