Help needed Re 1959-60
OK, this is for a guy I know, he said he played against a Sunderland Intermediate side late 1959 @ Roker Park. He was playing for a Sunderland Amateur League select team, only trouble is he cant remember the date. Would anyone know where I could find out any info on the game.
He tried contacting the club who were unhelpful and the echo but without him being more specific about the date wouldnt even look for him. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Perhaps the town library? Have all the old echo's in there. Might have to trawl through a few months worth of 'em like if he doesn't know the date.
