    Default North East England

I was with a couple of mags last night...during that first half we came up with the North East International Side...Ok they weren't born here but I'm not sure there is a crazy name in this side. Tell me I'm mad but if all fit I reckon this side could turn Capello's England over...demonstrating that Capello needs to come to the North East a bit more often. So far this season he's shown at SOL once and SJP not at all....

    Harper

    Onuoha Bramble Williamson Ferdinand

    Barton Cattermole Henderson

    Richardson Nolan

    Welbeck

Looks good, apart from those highlighted.

    Nope, itd be fairly shit

    Hart is better than Harper
Onuoha and Johnson is a close one
    Terry is better than Bramble
Rio Ferdinand is better than Williamson (comfortably better)
Ashley Cole pisses on Anton Ferdinand
Depends how you're playing the midfield but Gerrard, Lampard and Wilshere are better than Barton, Cattermole and Henderson. Richardson and Nolan arent international class (richardson is closer but ha'way man, about 3 decent games recently!) and if we wanted to stick Gerrard, Lampard and Wilshere in the middle we would be better off with Walcott and Young than those two
Rooney is considerably better than Welbeck

Might play well as a team and all that, but England would beat that side pretty comfortably

Sadly we don't have an English Goalkeeper...I was trying not to be too anti mag bias..I rate Barton and Nolan as players...dislike them intensely as people though.

To be fair we were struggling at left back...but Lanpard and Gerrard have never got going together in midfield, Wilshere wasn't great last night although def one for the future. Is walcott's crossing better than Bartons? As for passion we'd heave spades of it, whilst the usual rubbish Capello picks don't gel and certainly have no fight in them.
