Funny betting story
Seen a mate for the first time in a while yesterday, and he was telling me that just before the world cup final, his 2 workmates said they had found a bet that you couldn,t lose on.
My mate, not been a gambler(well, big anyway) fobbed them off, but they kept on, and explained that on Betfair people were betting on there only been 14/15 red cards in total, while there had already been 16 (Figures might be wrong, but you get the jist)
My mate said that can,t be right, people must have checked it out beforehand. The 2 lads took the 3 to 1 odds and bet £800, £1000 on and convinced another lad to borrow a grand from his mam to bet.
During the final my mate got a text from one of the lads saying they had fucked it up and not read the small print, which explained that red cards in extra time did not count throughout the tournament and they needed a red in the final.
Obviously they should have got the red they needed anyway ,but the only red came in extra time

Lost the lot! My mate is a painter and decorator, and was working on a job with these other lads.
The bloke who borrowed the money from his mam was just a security guard who worked at the place they were painting. He did,t know them from adam, but was took in with the "We can,t lose" talk
