Exclamation Anyone work in Drug/Alcohol abuse field?

Been to see my brother in Hospital today down south who is a long term alcoholic/heroin addict.

Possibly the most harrowing thing I have ever witnessed a man really lost and on the brink of oblivion.

I am worried that when he leaves hospital he will be homeless and will end up dead.

He wants to come home but I don't know of any places around here that offer shelter for people in his situation.

Does anyone know of any organisations that could help me get him somewhere to stay in the area?

    I'm fucking desparate.

I live in Hartlepool but anywhere in the north east is fine.

My folks are in there 60s and driving to Rotherham every day after there graft to check in on him, Anywhere closer is good but north east would be a godsend.

He's very lucky he's got people like you and the olds around him. With that sort of love and support, he's got the best chance of turning things around!

Good luck to you all mate.....
