Wigan game is huge now

after yesterdays amazing high MON will have to get the players quickly focused on this game which we must not lose. With the confidence gained from yesterdays result, the belief they have in their manager and the support of thousands of travelling fans we should be able to get at least a point from this game and keep the momentum going.

I'd definitely take a point tomorrow. In fact I don't mind how we get them, but I'd be delighted with 2 points from Wigan and Chelsea games

bit of a 6 pointer at this stage with them and blackburn picking up points. looking forward to being 10+ points away from the bottom 3 at some stage, and reeling in those kernts up the road

Absolutely but to be honest I would reckon that all who were involved yesterday are feeling 10 feet tall today, particularly Ji ( wonder what he thought of the bedlam that greeted his goal ), McLean , Kilgallon and Mig.

There will be no looking back IMO if we can get the 3 points at Wigan

it was indeed, but if we get a point against a bogie team we haven't beat home or away or in the last 7 attempts that would do, given the fact most never expected 3 points from City yesterday.

That said, we're on a good run, 10 league points (3 win, 1 draw, 1 defeat) from a possible 15, Wigan have taken 5 from 15 (1 win, 2 draws, 2 defeats), so why not go for a win?

Bearing in mind we play Chelsea away on 14th, so if MoN plays a 1/2 strength team as per Man City, then yea, a point is good. However, (and I'm sure its been said before), we owe Wigan a few goals, and if we can score at least 2, then I think all 3 points will be coming back to the North East with the lads post match
