Wayne Bridge & Sol Campbell..
... on our flight from N'cle to London tonight.
Anyhoos, while waiting at the baggage reclaim we have a little chat with Wayne. Seems he's absolutely loved his time at the club and is hoping for a one year loan deal back at the club next season - see out his final year of contract with Man City. I asked how he rated MoN and he described him very enthusiastically as excellent and fantastic.
With a full pre-season at the club, a bit of MoN TLC and an injury free run, could he be the answer to our LB shortage - for a season at least?
That is all.

If it stops Bardo playing LB again, I'll pay for him myself*
*this, is not legally binding.

Seems that MON isn't too keen on him though?

Re: Wayne Bridge & Sol Campbell..
Hardly surprising he'd like another season earning 70k a week for warming the bench.

Why not? I can't influence his prospects at the club!
Seemed genuinely enthusiastic about his time up there.

Better than O'Shea at left back. Thing with Bardo is, when he's been on the left he gets forward more and seems more willing to overlap the winger. Think it's because he knows McClean can get back and cover if attack ends. Maybe doesn't trust Larsson or Campbell to either get back in time (Seb) or defend effectivly (Frazier)
