    Even if he doesnt get on, well done for the lad working so hard to recover, (in between all them nights he has on the piss apparently) and it could be as effective as a new signing with him back in the action.

    Thought he would be out for at least a year after it happened, but to be back in the squad in 7 months is an amazing achievement.

    Let hope he can pick up where he left off last season.

    I've just had a similar operation after originally first injuring it 11 years ago!

    I've noticed over that time that back then it was usually a year before they were playing - now they tend to say 8 to 12 months for pro footballers who have top class facilities and physio available to them day in day out and they tend to come back around the 8 month mark.

    The sad thing is that when hes not as good as everyone has hyped him up to be they will blame the injury and not the fact he was just one of those players that got better the more time he was out in peoples head. He was average nothing more nothing less.
