    Default Whey Protein powder

Which one is the best to buy? The Holland and Barretts one seems the cheapest, but I’m not sure on the quality

I have found 'true whey' from myprotein.com the best stuff.

It has almost zero fat, sugars, carbs.... just pure protien

Are you looking to gain size or tone up?

I'm looking to tone up now that i've finished training for the GNR. I took whey protein after every session last winter, and bulked up rather than toned.

Do I still take the whey protein for toning only?

its got the same amount of fat and sugar as the basic impact whey. You're just paying for the added BCAA's.

To be honest the protein you take isn't going to make that much difference, it will be your diet that will be the difference.

Still if your looking to tone up take a low calorie, low carb shake like true whey from myprotein.com

Can we just clarify that 'tone up' is a false term. The 'toned' look comes from have muscle mass and low bodyfat, you can't tone a muscle.
