Thats bullshit really, he and his agent's have been trying to engineer a move all summer long. He pressured bruce into moving him on, the offer was too good to turn down to play infront of 300 people every week! People like gyan have no footballing desires, he represents his country and scored in the biggest sporting event in the world, and is happy to play in that country. He is a disgrace.

At least you're consistent in your naivety.

    SkyGraemeBailey - Graeme Bailey

Gyan is a strange one, yes he may have took the money - but he clearly was not wanted at Sunderland, that was clear all summer.

Hang on though....a lot of folks on here seem to think that all we had to do to reatain his services (such as they would be in those circumstances) is refuse his move.

This cuts both ways. He had the option of saying "I don't want to go...I'll stay, work hard and fight for my place"

    Surely ?

Bruce has known he has been unsettled for 'weeks and months' so why wait until after the window is closed, this is Bent all over again,

Exactly mate. The club sent an email offering him for sale to anyone who wanted him. What would that make him think?

At the time Quinn attempted a cover up which many idiots bought, but Gyan must have known the truth.

There have been efforts made to sell him for 3 months now. If you knew that, and a good offer was on the table, you would go.

If you want to apportion blame for this, look to Quinn and the board.
