    Default Online Order Help Please

Bit of help / advice please

Found an offer yesterday for a fishing chair that was advertised as free, so i added a couple of other bits i needed andnplaced an order for a total of £5.00

Received confirmation via email of the free fishing chair and other bits still with a total of £5

Checked the bank this morning and they have taken the money out.

Can they still back out of this? Surely if they have sent confirmation and i have paid they have to send the goods stated regardless of it being a blatant mistake?

I did this with Argos a while back, but they had some disclaimer on there to say they didn't have to supply if there was an error with pricing etc.

Managed to get it still when i twisted about it, but suppose it depends on what they have in terms & conditions etc

Aye this has come up a couple of times on here before. Generally there will be something in the T&Cs which states if they find they have made a pricing error they reserve the right to cancel the order. You might get lucky though.

They've fucked up. Just email or phone them. What they've done is illegal so it should be sorted easy enough. Unless in the small print it said it was a cashback offer in which you pay the £100, then get it back at a later stage. But I bet you never read the small print.

    You're a twat

Where was this? Is it still there?

I think that if the money has been taken you have a legal contract. But see here:

Err, it was a joke. You know, what do you call a gorilla with bananas in his ears? Anything you want.

And what do you call someone who doesn't read the small print? Anything you want, as long as it's in the small print.
