    Depends where you go.
You can drink in Vesterbro relatively cheaply.

Decent little bars there as well as this restaurant:

    les trois cochons

I can recommend the 3 course evening set menu there.

Tivoli Gardens is worth popping into.

If you bother to go and see the uninspiring Little Mermaid pop into the museum near there about Denmark during the war (in Winston Churchill park near the statue of the SAS fella) to see how much they try to claim they didn't really like the nazi's and wanted us to win all along.

Might check that restaurant out next time I'm over.
Tivoli Gardens can be lovely at the right time of year.

I typed quite a long reply in earlier and my browser crashed. Nowt worse.

Anyway.... Tivoli should definitely visited. Best done at/after dusk when it is lit up. They usually have bands on a Friday night. Usually Danish but sometimes UK bands. Would recommend a canal tour as a good way of seeing the city and getting some of the history. The Round Tower is worth a visit as you get great views across the city. For shopping you will wander down the Strøget. But it's a lovely walk passing plenty of interesting buildings, side streets and squares.

Would definitely recommend the Carlsberg tour as well. The best brewery tour I've been on and the 'free' beer at the end is great.

For drinking then aye the tourist areas like Nyhavn and pubs on the Strøget are expensive. But a drink on Nyhavn when the whether is good really shouldn't be missed because of the price of a pint. Could always just buy some off licence beer and sit on the dock side like. Hviids Vinstue on Kongens Nytorv near Nyhavn is a lovely little old bar. For the football then The Dubliner on Strøget is good. Packed with locals and tourists but big and loads of screens.

As mentioned Vesterbro is cheaper. Some good pubs with character round there though I can't remember any names.

I can't recommend too many pubs as I don't go out there that much and tend to just go to the same places when I'm over so will have to strive to go elsewhere meself next time.

    Cheers fella.

Probably go somewhere like The Dubliner for the England match & I read somewhere they have a big screen up for the Denmark v Cameroon game so might get involved for that.

Probably on Rådhuspladsen I'd have thought. That's the big square at the top of Strøget and near Tivoli. That would be great craic. Loads of fit Danish lasses with little Danish flags painted on their brackets.

Oh and if you want a nice Danish lunch I'd recommend here.
