    Default Guitarists: a question

I have an handmade Yamaha LL 500 guitar - about 20 years old. A real beauty - I want to add a pick up to it. Can anyone recommend a good make? I have heard a few Fishman(?) and they sound very 'sharp' - anything better than this on the market? Cheers

TBH any pu you install on your acoustic is gonna sound sharp compared to the natural tone.
I've got a Fishman on me Tanglewood SJ5X and it's spot on when I amp it up (which is rarely mind)

I wouldn't bother mesel unless you are planning on regular gigging

If you're just wanting a pick up in it to play through an amp or PA you would probably be better getting a guitar lead with the mic that clips to the body
