it creates an electric shock i think. something to do with two metal conductors with saliva in between.

can be a nasty shock if you don't unwrap a kit kat properly

I make my marra do it every home game with the tin foil off the pies. Away to Hearts last year he did it on the mini bus on the way up. So we jammed his jaws together by pressing his jaw up and pressing down on his heed. Wrecked he said like

If I remember my GCSE physics correctly, the touching of the two different metals (tin and whatever's in the amalgam) and the reaction with the acid in your saliva creates a voltage. Try attaching two different metals to either side of an LED and sticking them in a lemon. SCIENCE IN ACTION!
