As does walking away with the title.

Got them in my accy today like, so they better continue to stroll off with the trophy.

Fiar play to them, great for the fans but in terms of income they're only likely to make around 130k.

If we kept our tickets at £20 and sold 22k, that's 440k. Nearly 3 and a half times as much.

It just goes to show that SAFC are always right with their pricing. Even if they sold tickets for £5 in the hope that supporters would spend more money at the game, the average fan wouldn't spend enough to make it worthwhile.

I think kids for a quid or kids for a fiver schemes would work better as it encourages the younger generation to support us. I'm usually against family enclosures etc. because it doesn't interest me but it's necessary for the club to grow. I noticed the mags have quite a sizeable family enclosure.

Sadly as football is all about money you are probably correct. However it is is always nice when clubs give something back to the fans like this.

They're a decent supported side since there period of success a decade or so ago but really if you think about it they've a catchment area of over a million (S.E. London) so not really that impressive!

Better supported than Millwall or Palace though who should have south London sown up yet get crap crowds.

Charlton were one of the biggest teams in London years back...before West Ham won the world cup and that
