    Those numbers aren't right. We've made at least £44m from selling Bent and Henderson and even if we get Gibson and all the clauses for Wickham kick in we're only just over the £30 mark. If all the transfer funds come back to Bruce he could spend another £12m at least and made a dozen signings for zero net outlay.

    Yeh but Bent cost up to £16m in a sell-on situation so we've really only made £8m on him.

    Still that's a hell of an improved squad for only £6m net - but the other issue may well be wages...
