Replacing a hard disk on my laptop?

How much does it cost to do this, is it the type of think you can do yourself or would I need to take it to a computer shop?

Its for a Toshiba laptop, could anybody point me in the best direction to the best place to buy them.

I have already backed up my Itunes which is the only think I am bothered about losing tbh, if it is to much thinking of just getting a new laptop when this one finally goes

I reckon you can do it yourself.

Turn lappy off, unplug from mains and take the battery out. On the underside of lappy there'll be a bay about the size of a tab packet. Undo the screw(s) holding the cover on, take cover off. Take out any screws holding the hard drive in place and pull the drive away from the connector. Do everything opposite to install new drive Install a copy of Windows of your choice

Drive should be a Hitachi HTS543212L9A300 120GB SATA, any size 2.5 sata should fit though.
