    Well, IF it's true you would hope that our favourable dealings with them would see us get him at a decent price.

    Personally I'd have gotten him as part of the Jones deal.

    I think he'd work really well with Bent, he's a clever footballer.

    Maybe he wasn't first choice at the time we sold Jones, and having been unwilling to pay the fees asked for other targets are now near the bottom of the list and have now gone for Tuncay, just a thought.

    I thought DL had said Tuncay was going to be part of the Jones deal but then for some reason it didn't happen. If it is in the pipeline then Stoke now have the upper hand.
    A bit like with Don Hutchinson a few years back when we let him go to West Ham and then tried to sign Trevor Sinclair afterwards and they put the price up sky high.

    As long as it's not ferdy, tainio, ringo, healy, halford, mcshane,higgy, prica etc etc signing... however we have far more sense and professionalism these days.
