Sunderland are discussing a move for French full back Aly Cissokho. The Lyon man has two years left on his current contract and the Black Cats are prepared to bid 7.5m GBP to bring the defender to the club.

Cissokho has also been attracting the attentions of AC Milan, who have made an offer for the Frenchman in the past.

Isn't that the guy who failed his medical at Milan because of his teeth? Our physios struggle with muscle injuries, maybe dental issues are their strength.

Seriously, he cost them 15 million euros a few years ago, can't see it happening. Him and Bastos are a pretty tasty left side tandem.
