tbf , they'd be better off asking Mark Hughes to do it on a best efforts basis. It's along way back from the last pot but to start off they just need to target getting a result against any team from a level above.

Disgraceful for Welsh football. A nation with players like Bale, Ramsey, Collison, J Collins, Vaughan, Bellamy should in no way be below a bunch of guys that don't even play full-time. Managed correctly they could be Pot 3 material.

Wales have suffered the same outcome as Scotland, poorly managed we had the twunt Burley they had Toshack. Nowt wrang with theplayers its the clowns who cant organise them.

Having said that the Rankings are a load of tosh, at one point in 2008, Scotland were 12th in the world and the might mighty mighty Engerlund were 11th.

It's all about the manager, IMO. I'd say they have a more talented team than Republic of Ireland on paper but the Irish will probably get a play-off spot.
