    Default Hotels In Manchester

    Evening all.

I have never stayed in Manchester so I'm hoping you good folks can point in the right direction for a cheap hotel.

Getting the train to Manchester Piccadilly. Heading to the MEN on the night to see Jay Z so need a hotel thats close to both of these. Don't knoiw if the arena is away from the city centre or not but if it is we will just get a travel inn somewhere close to the station.

    Over to you. Cheers.

Went down for the boxing last weekend.

Stopped in the Abode which is literally 5 mins walk from Picadilly Station and about 15 mins walk from the MEN Arena.

Paid 70 quid for a double inc b/fast but that was pretty cheap and booked well in advance through otel.com

Always do the Lowry. Quite pricey but email ahead and normally get a decent rate.

Piccadilly station and the MEN are on opposite ends of town, but it's only 10 minutes walk between the two.

If you want cheap, there's a Premier Inn round the corner from the MEN, just over the bridge into Salford.

If you want cheap beer, there's two pubs back to back with a top courtyard for drinking in just outside the City entrance to the Arena, call The Wellington and Sinclairs Oyster Bar.
