Default How many points did you expect?

There's a lot of hatred on this forum at the moment an I just wanted to check - how many points were you expecting so far?

I reckon we're 2 points off a start I'd have been really pleased with and 1 off what I actually expected.

Should we not just get behind the lads and coaching staff until, say, the end of September?

Probably 4. It's early days. The combination of losing the derby at home, getting humped by Brighton and finally seeing our top striker leaving (again) was pretty depressing for us all - but it really is early days yet.

Please, please, beat Stoke, though, or I'm gonna be seriously depressed...

Keep on saying it's only 4 games and the team just needs to gel and soon you'll believe it.

I really do believe it's only 4 games, because it is.

And I think it'll look very different after 10 games (for the better).

4pts would have been acceptable return for the first 4 games.

However, if you were to ask me at the start of the season how many points I would find acceptable after the first 7 league games, the answer would have been 11. At the moment, we dont look like getting close to that figure.

4 maybe 5. With new signings I knew they'd need time to bed/gel but I expected them to still get the basics right. At the least I expected them to hit the ground running.

4 points, and I expected us still to be in the Carling Cup. I also expected an improvement in performance on the secon half of last season, and some semblance of the new signings being moulded into some sort of team whereby everyone has a set role.

2 (nowt off L'pool and Chelsea) given the scale of changes, but still in the Cup.

    This.

It's got nowt to do with the amount of points or the fact that we've just lost to Chelsea. Not getting a top striker in during the summer was the biggest let down IMO especially since they knew that &yan wanted away.
