Default Is this all SAFC aspire to?

selling better players and replace them with unproven south americans. And have to sell 3 squad players before signing another good player.

I know money is thigh but ffs surely this is taking the piss?

Replacing our second choice striker should be a formality....yet Quinn is happy to do without if needs be.

I'm slightly annoyed with the club at the minute.

agree, at this rate we look like we are happy to be a bolton type. Just languishing around mid table with a good season every now and then.

If you attempt to stand still in football, you inevitably go backwards

    I smell another relegation scrap

As opposed to not having any good seasons and being relgated every other year?

I said at the time when we promoted that one of the biggest problems the club would have is with fans not being happy with stability (whoch means a fair number of years around mid table, the odd good year and the odd year where we go backwards but not getting relegated).

mind thats better than our last 25 or so years so dont knock it

I wonder what our average league position is if you combine premiserhisp and championship or 1st and second divisions (and even third!)over the last 25 years

    aye

a club wanting to push the top 10 does not bring in 15M in transfers including 2 key players. and spend 3M replacing them

What have Villa done? What have Liverpool done? What have Everton done? What have Blackburn, Stoke and West Ham done?

The only team other than Man City that appear to be spending money is Birmingham. The Champions League teams we wouldn't expect to match so there's only really, Man City and Birmingham who are outspending us and there are reasons for that.
