Your lucky mate, in my area in the western burbs of Melbourne, I can only get Telstra wireless $129.95 for 10gb of shit slow unreliable service! Choose any of the options other than Telstra, they really are shit and have the customer service levels of BT circa 1974.
How you enjoying life since you moved over?

Bloody hell!!! I'm paying a combined $180 (Canadian is roughly equiv to Aus) for landline, IPhone, 2nd Cell phone and unlimited broadband!! We have never gone over our limits on either the IPhone or 2nd cell phone and can download as much as we want whenever we want.

its ridiculous mate. im using an optus pre-paid modem atm for that reason, broadband is rubbish in the west. im moving to point cook at the end of the year and ive been doing research on ADLS2+ and theres nothing really available. its a disgrace mate.
telstra have great service, but they are a pack of c unts (well to me anyways they were)
optus for me have been very good but their coverage is a joke..

whirlpool is the best forum to look at for any such info or advice.
my mate works in the industry and reckons he would choose internode over others if he could (depending on area).
I'm with iinet (naked dsl) which I'm fine with. they also have premiere league games live or on demand can't remember which. they aslo keep telling the federal govt to fuck off with their proposed internet filter so they get my money for that anyway.

Tell me about it, I've had to pay $3500 to have fibre optics installed in my new house just so I can get decent broadband. Telstra dont give a fuck, one of the plus points for getting fibre was so I can ring Telstra and tell them to shove their product uptheir arse!
Where abouts in PC you moving to mate?

i hate telstra with a passion. what company are you using for the fibre optic? i thought that was only to selected homes within a certain range?
umm, not to sure yet. gonna rent with my cousin, so anywhere really. hopefully around where the new shopping centre is.. good thing about PC is that the majority of the homes are new as well. and rent is cheap too (for two people anyways)
