How many of the loanees would you sign....

Obviously this does not include Muntari but how many, (and at what price) would you sign.

Onouha......i wonder if we tried in January as i never read anywhere that we had made an offer for him. Personally i think the jury is still out with him and would'nt go over £5m for him.

Mensah.....may as well thank him for his contribution and let him go as i can't ever see him being available for 50% of games.

Elmo.......Not good enough to be starting imo but for £2.5m he's a good squad player and young enough to improve and/or retain his value.

Wellbeck....The only one i would definitely have but given that Capello stated he would have been in the next England squad and a 1 cap striker of roughly the same age and credentials has gone for £35m we can forget it.

We may need to be busy in the summer i reckon as we could be looking at quite a thin squad.

i think the fact i hardly notice him is a good thing
he did make a mistake last night, cleared it straight off drogba and got penned back into the box but he muscled back in and won a free kick off him
definately try to get him in

mensah no, not worth it

elmo yeah he will improve hopefully and has good games

welbeck i don think we have a hope of getting, would love it though

Mensah is injury-prone; Elmo is not good enough; Onuaha is basically a centre-half playing out of position, and we are well-stocked with centre-halves.

So, in effect we could end up with none of them as three of them are either injury prone or not quite good enough and the other one would probably command a "Carrollesque" fee........surely he would'nt be less than £20m and that's too much to pay tbh. Like i said.....we may need to be very active this summer.

harsh to judge Onuoha after his "evening with Ashley Cole" but agree there might be better out there in the 6-8m range.
Elmo is good value
Mensah is the best defender we've ever seen but for 1 game in 3 ? tragedy for the lad ...

Assuming that Wellbeck ewants to come here I think we'll get him in the summer, regardless of what Ferguson may have said recently.

I expect Man Utd to come in for Henderson and/or Gordon in the summer and we would almost certainly want Wellbeck as part of one of those deals.
