Transfer rumours...

[where the end begins]

All the hype of us accumulating some very well fought results in the recent few weeks, seems to have distracted us from creating daft rumours about whom we are linked with.

I haven't seen much about any potential targets with any real links, however read in the paper yesterday we may be in for Collins (Villa CH) in this window but nothing in terms of a Striker.... Any News???

Looks a cracking young player but we already payed a large amount of money for an 18 year old in the summer.

IMO we'll go for Andy Johnson.

Already got a few too many young'ns, our most experienced is 23 , i'd prefer somone like S. Fletcher at wolves. He chips in with a fair few goals at this level, is experienced and looks the complete CF, not the greatest obv but fits the role were trying to fill.


Edit. Just researched him and he's arnly 24 ffs!!! he looks about 50! So apologies i take that fletcher comment back

Seen us linked with some Portuguese striker called Ederzito on sky's paper talk thing the other day, he looks shite. Hardly ever scores.

Fletcher is a very decent player but would cost a fortune IMO, think we'll be looking at a short term option to get us through till the summer...... Robbie Keane anyone?

Fletcher would cost a canny bit imo, wolves payed 7 mil for him last year and he's playing well.

For me, just get some experience in to see us through and have a good go in the summer at 2 or 3 quality additions.

Canny player , has probably played a bit with wickham at ipswich youth level too but it is a huge step up .
