Laptop knackered ??

got a sony vaio laptop and the little un has dropped something onto the screen, the screen now has a large dark mark where impact was made, and the rest is just a splash of colours !
does that mean the laptop is know knackered, or can this be fixed somehow ? - if so, recoomend anywhere ?

You can get a replacement screen, not that difficult to replace.

Or link it to your tv or an old monitor.
