Basically, I have to write a narrative. It's meant to be based upon an anecdote, although they won't know either way, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that could be interesting for me to expand upon, as I'm completely devoid of them.

plenty anecdotes on the board mate, why not just copy a thread mate and change the names to protect the innocent.

something topical mate, like the fifty quid fine for the poppy burner. some strong held opinions on that thread mate, eye catching stuff for assessment purposes

you could do worse then looking at some verse mate, some ww1 stuff, look at siegfried sassoon. maybe your narrative character could be some old duffer quoting random stanzas mate

Given up. Gonna tell my useless spastic of a teacher tomorrow that I'm struggling and ask her for the help she should have already given us in the lessons.
Had a pretty cool idea about Tsar Nicholas and Rasputin but I had no idea of how to shape it.
Shitty idea for a coursework option like.
