The SB sack race.......
Unbelievable really
Surely he has to be given until the end of November at least, to turn it around. We have quite a few teams who are in and around us coming up...
Could be a turning point...
I've posted SB out in the past, purely born out of misguided emotion, but thinking about it logically it would be foolish at this point in time...
This board has become a haven of hate and not a very nice place to visit these days...

Teams around us? Like Swansea, Norwich and West Brom?

Just a guess here, mate, but I suspect the people who want Bruce to go think that's fairly unlikely.....
How many more games does it have to take before he's had enough time? How many missed opportunities, woeful performances, lost points and lost fans?

Aye, lets follow tradition and wait until its too late and that we might as well stick with him, as bringing someone else is would just be a waste of money.
Getting shot of Bruce now might be a slight gamble but it's worth taking.

Re: The SB sack race.......
Will the same people who now give him till November stick to their guns, or will the goalposts change. He has had his time here, the man is a dead man walking. Should have been sacked after the WBA game. We have been on relegation form for the last 10 months and there is no sign, not even a hint of one, that things can change.

Re: The SB sack race.......
One of the many reasons I want him to go is that he doesn't seem to have any new ideas or want try something different. To not have tried 2 strikers on a game by this stage in the season beggars belief.
His substitutions baffle me, home v West Brom he brings on Meyler into a game that we should be chasing to win, but against Arsenal when we are probably quite happy to take a point he tears the midfield to bits before they equalise.

Look, Bruce won't get sacked, the future of the north east depends on it. If he goes, Greggs will go bust within a matter of weeks.
Where will the charvers go for their dinner then? It will provoke widespread civil unrest, foot shortages for many, lost jobs for others, where will it end?

Re: The SB sack race.......
Why does he have to be given until November to turn things around? We've lost 15 of our last 23 games, what gives you the confidence that this clueless man will all of a sudden change our fortunes.

Look at it this way: if he gets sacked, he might start comfort eating. This single act could bring us out of recession!
