Default In these day when officals get so much stick

It was a superb decision by the linesman today when Gyan got played through for our goal.

I was more or less in line and thought he looked off by a yard at least

    Credit where credits due

I totally agree. If the linesman made a bad decision that prevented us for getting a goal, he would be lambasted for it. Yet he makes a fantastic decision, and we hear nothing. Officials deserve more credit when they get things right.

It was an excelent decision, unlike those made by Atkinson to merely give Boa Morte a yellow card and his refusal, in spite of repeated justification, to give a second yellow to Cole.

Richard Keyes still tried to insinuate it was offside, denying the very evidence he was putting before us!

Seems a bit strange to say this but if it was given offside I wouldnt have really complained to much tbh

Don't worry about it mate, he's a cunt, so his opinion doesn't count.

Bent is called offside 1 or 2 times a game when he's onside in similar fashion. Happened in the second half yesterday.

Good decision by the linesman. You could say they don't get credit for doing things right, but it IS their job. Someone doesn't come round and pat me on the back at work when I do something I get paid to do

"Boa Morte, the player who was adjudged to have played Gyan onside."

And that was after the match when the incident had been replayed a million times and proved he was definitely onside.

They just can't have it can they

Sorry they get paid to make the right decision and all he did was his job so no credit needed as it was not something he did that was within his scope he never went the extra mile. Still too many bad and inconsistant decisions as was the booking of cattermole and the two footed lunge on Rico when the same ref sent two players off this season for similar tackles...
