    Default Newton Aycliffe

    Any decent restuarants around there? Going to Redworth Hall for a couple of nights in a few weeks. Getting a meal on the Friday included, so thought we might head out somewhere for the Saturday.

    someone off here was a chef in a place nearby iirc, can't remember who it was , but somebody will.( soz - nee help)

    You'll be hard pressed to find a nice restaurant in Aycliffe mate. There's an Indian in the 'town centre', but it isn't very nice (in my opinion like). Best bet would be the surrounding villages for some nice pub grub...or maybe even Darlington. We're only 5 mins down the road like.

    one of the pubs in Heighenton does decent scran.. always seems busy weekends and also does a very good selection of ales.

    only 2 pubs.. its the busy one.. name espcapes me
