    Default left Back position...Ipswich towns

Cresswell...Town signed him from Tranmere Rover during the summer. Watched him against Coventry the other neet and my son and I both agreed for once this lad maybe is the answer to the L/B pos. He has a natural touch for a someone whos , I'm not sure if it said he was 19 or 22 but he can defend, track and mark his man. Seems to have an all round game and the crossing he put in (yes Iknow it was only Coventry) were imo just the job..

    Anyone else watch the game...thoughts???

I saw the game and thought he looked very good going forward, put some superb crosses in the box.

However, I'd like to see him against better opposition, particularly as to how he defends because Coventry were utter wank.

Agree, 1 good game in a 3-0 victory is difficult to judge him, lets see how he does over the season.

RK seemed to like signing players that played well against us like Greg and Etuhu.

Usually means his opposite number needs replacing instead.

Aye, or players he'd player with or knew from other clubs he'd been at. TBF to him with Halford, he was superb against us at the SOL for Colchester. Can't say I remember Etuhu from that season mind.

v Collins? I rest my case.

Pretty sure it was Norwich away when Etuhu steam-rolled through our midfield.

He must only just have overlapped with Brown and O'Shea at Man Utd as well, if at all.
