Default May challenge - Environmental Portraiture - Discussion

OK, another busy time for me so I'm starting it early again. You might also get another day or two at the end of the current challenge if I can't get online.

In an effort to dispel the myth that we're all a bunch of sad buggers that never interact with real people, the May challenge is going to force us to talk to another individual.

The theme for May is Environmental Portraiture.

Some good examples if you google the theme.

Shots must be taken between now and the end of May.

    Happy shooting

Yep, that was the intent this month, I hope there are some imaginative entries.

    Might even enter myself.

It doesn't have to be you in your work environment, just someone in their work environment.

My work environment would be really boring, just a desk/no space/pc. I'm still chiaroscuroing currently though.

The way I read it, it doesn't even have to be a work environment, so long as it is somewhere that "typically illuminates the subject's life and surroundings". I would like to think that my workplace is definitely not illuminating of my life and surroundings. I can't get out of the place quick enough come the end of the day!
