Steam Games Site?

My lad is asking me about this site - what are its pros and cons oh geeky ones?

I assume you mean Steam, you buy games, download them so it doesn't need disks.

Really useful if you're useless at keeping discs in decent condition or losing them.

You can uninstall and re-download as many times as you want for most games too, I find it useful.

Downsides are that it isn't exactly bug free, be prepared to have to fight to make some games work, and downloading games like the Total Wars can take days depending on your connection - with a good connection though it's fine.

Don't forget your account details though, you would be pissed off if you lost access to an account with hundreds of quids worth of games on.
