Now that the C2C has been officially announced, here's the annual thread to discuss all things bike-wise.

Anyone needing advice or opinion on any aspect of cycling, be it road or mountain, the SMB is here to help.

It was one of last year's biggest and longest running threads, especially for the C2Cers, so be sure to check back regularly and join on the banter.

Looking forward to it again.My training's going to have to start as soon as the weather improves.Miles behind how i was doing last year.Only joking really.I'm sure i'll be a lot more relaxed about the ride than i was last year.Once you've done it you know what's coming and that takes away a lot of the doubt.Still not gonna be east like.

I've been training on getting over 50 mph on the downhills by increasing my momentum over xmas.
