Trying to get your lass to change her diet
My lass (no) is constantly on a diet even though she doesn't really need it. Unfortunately its a load of shit, shes just obsessed with the weightwatchers approach-every day she basically eats fruit, a ham sandwich, packet of low fat crisps, kit kat and salad.
Shes also overdoing the exercise IMO, she's swimming for an hour every dinner and going to the gym everynight doing a Couple hours cardio and going to body tone classes.
Anyone got any ideas in how I can get her to take some advice? It's annoying the shit out of me that she's moaning all the time that's she's not losing as much weight as she wants but refuses to take any advice

Aware her that she may be destroying/destroyed her metabolism by doing a ridiculous low calorie diet and so much exercise.
How much weight is she trying to lose a week btw?

She's absolutely knackered all the time, proper fatigue-but she just won't listen to me!shes up and down like the weather
She only wants to lose 2lb a week. She lost fuck all last week which makes me worry shes doing some serious damage to herself

Re: Trying to get your lass to change her diet
Aye, to be honest it is a serious issue. From what you posted, it doesn't look like she's eating a lot at all, unless them foods are in quite significant quantities, accompanying this with hours of cardio per day is a recipe for disaster and seeing as she's not lost any weight, although it could be a number of things, she could very well be running her metabolism into the ground.
Apart from trying to make her aware of the potential detrimental effects of such a diet & exercise combination, I'm not sure what you can really do tbh mate.

Why not try taking here for a meal or summat and eat something geet tasty in front of her, surely she will crack after a few salads.
Hope you find a solution marra, my wife used to be like this, reckons she was addicted to exercise and hammered it every day.
