    Default African Grey Parrotts

Our lass (no) is wanting one. Anyone got one? Any advice on what to expect? She wants a hand reared one aswell. Anyone know where to get one?
I trust the smb to provide a variety of advice. Begin.

Fantastic pets , read up on them before you get one though as they take a bit of looking after, and say goodbye to teflon coated pans etc.

Mine is about 11 years old now and he still makes me laugh.

Overheat one and it will kill a bird in a very short time.

This comment proves that you shouldn't get one. If you don't even know the basics you should be going no where one let alone buying one. These birds take a lot of looking after and it is a massive commitment.
