about putting some "stop leak " stuff in the coolant system, it says on the tin to remove the radiator cap or put it in the coolant overflow reservoir, is the latter the tank that you put the coolant in if you were topping it up or is it something different ??

as you can tell I know fuck all about cars

its a Fiesta Zetec btw 51 plate

yes it is. It's horrible stuff and I would only use it as a last resort. Do you know where the leak is?

nah, I was going to go and see a man about it, but iv'e only had to top it up about once a month, so its nothing massive ( yet like )

dont bother using it, can cause more trouble than its worth (blocked heater matrix to name but a few) get it fixed propley.
