    Default Thank you Martin O'Neill!

Absolutely delighted with the job he has done so far with mostly the same players as Steve Bruce was failing with, and if he didnt get sacked we would most certainly be down there now with the likes of Wigan, Blackburn, Bolton etc!

Just watching the relegation threatened clubs' fans on sky sports news earlier, that could so easily have been us again in the scrap down the bottom but this season we can relax for once instead of checking other teams fixtures and hoping that they will be beaten.

Keep the faith lads, onwards and upwards!

Bang on the money. We were without doubt going to be down among the dead men.

Marin O'Neill is an astonishing appointment by the club. We have NEVER, in our history went and recruited a manager with such a track record, although of course a few have done wonders once here. Hopeless looking players have looked competent, almost all the players look far better and more organised, and staggeringly, ( this should really not be possible when a manager turns up a third of the way through the season), the team now looks much fitter.

We have a fairly standard line up so we are going to lose our fair share of games and have our bad days. But with some reasonable help in the few years he is here, MON will give us some times we will remember for long enough. We can now be the club that we should be .

It's not "One Day" any more. It's this day, these days.

    Thanks for showing up Martin.

Mr O'Neill has made me believe in myself again and for that I will be eternally grateful. He is a man of class and dignity who we ride the train of Mackemdom with, the highs and lows, the cheers and the tears.
But what is important is that we are ourselves again. I feel more comfortable with my position in the world thanks to him.
After Larsson's winner against Blackburn I told my wife I was ready to start a family. If SAFC is ready to be the club it was destined to be then so am I ready to face the future.
