High Speed Photography
Anybody ever tried this, apparently you put your camera in a darkened are on the Bulb setting and use an acoustic trigger (like this one http://makezine.com/flashkit/) to trigger a flash or strobe (saw one method which pulled a single use camera apart to get a flash). Some fantastic shots on the Flickr site I am sure it is much harder than it appears.

Haven't tried it, but keep on meaning to.
You don't need a special trigger as far as I know - just light your subject then shoot on burst mode.
