Failure Can Breed Success
Failure breeds success, "Getting good" at failure, however, doesn't mean creating anarchy out of organization. It means leaders not just on a podium at the annual meeting, but in the trenches, every day who create an environment safe for taking risks and who share stories of their own mistakes. It means bringing in outsiders unattached to a project's past. It means carving out time to reflect on failure, not just success.
Steve Bruce needs ot bring in a good coach or right hand man, change things around in the backroom and maybe take some risks, we are not that far away from being a good team.

It's a plan then - to fail?

For all the talk of the left hand side, player purchases, formations etc. this is where Bruce is letting himself down - and what looks like doing for him. He's just too bloody cautious.

Clearly your idea of 'good" differs from most.

No Failure can breed success, especially if you look at the weaknesses and rectify them. Sadly the transfer window in England does not allow us to rectify weaknesses throughout the year. No one will ever undertstand the logic in letting Gyan or Bent move on and the timing of it. Im sure Bruce was not the instigator of this and Im also sure that if Quinn and Short thought for one minute the current set up could not rectify what has gone wrong he would be moved on.
Lets leave the running of the club to those who know best and see if anything happens between now Christmas and the January transfer window which is when Bruce can put the areas that are failing him right

Why has he not done so in the last 11 months? Surely he has now shown that just can't put things right? Doesn't the evidence of recent selections and substitutions show that he has really given up and is just wildly throwing the dice now?
It's time to draw a line.

Matter of opinion, and im the one opting for the Xmas period then make a decsion. Om sure the club will have a replacement lined up if we lose the next two or dont get at least 4 points.
The problem we have is, I cant see Short busting a gut to recruit like SNQ did, or maybe we have an investor lined up from the Middel East
