Areet all,
Mate of mine has asked me to post this, see if anyone is interested:
On Saturday 16th June he has organised a Sportsman's Dinner in aid of the Gateshead College Foundation, a charity that supports young people in the North East who would like to continue in education but cannot afford to following cuts in the EMA.
Nobby Stiles MBE is going to do a talk on his time with England and Manchester United, which should be class especially the night after an England Euro 2012 game. His son John Stiles is going to do the hosting/stand up part, only heard good things about him, supposed to be really funny.
Tickets are just £35 and include a 3 course meal, first drink on the night, charity auction, live music and the speakers. Ticket packages available for corporate/businesses as well.
If anyone is interested your support would be much appreciated, contact him at
alex.rutherford@gateshead .ac.uk or private message on here.
He said he would chuck in a bucket of beers (10) for every table of 10 that is taken, canny!
Cheers
