    Default Bruces expectation

Brucey seems to revel in the fact that a top half finish would result in Safc 3 best finish in 50 years.

Seems strange an experienced prem manager who is now 'shopping at harrods' has such limited ambitions.

This best finish in 50 years craic is now lamentable. Fact or not the bloke has spent the GNP of Peru to get to where we are now. If the failures of previous generations are to be the success benchmark of the current one then that is pretty low.

We could have been in Europe this year but have to watch as clubs like Bolton and Stoke continue to progress at our expense.

GNP of Peru? Really? So what's his exact net spend? And I want an exact figure, for both the GNP of Peru and for what steve has spent.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no Bruce fan. I just dislike the way you make stuff up even more

don't know where you get this view from, he has sold Bent, Cana and Jones, and had to bring in a load of loan players, he must be a chairmans dream, and now he is the one taking the flak for it.....

Aye, he should talk about his constant poor records of second half of every season instead.

I think after 5 years in the prem and the amount of money spent top half is a fcuking minimum. We should have been a real good shout for europe. Probably ultimitely missing out to the scousers but a good fricking go. Bruce can fcuk right off with his limited ambitions and frankly quinn should have more balls to call him out for it and state our ambitions are higher

according to http://www.transferleague.co.uk/prem...transfers.html he has actually made a profit of £8350000

The GDP of Peru is $130.32 Billion

Its got nothing to do with net spend. Using that yardstick then he has bought no one and sold no one.

He has bought and sold dozens of players, spent millions and we are no further forward.

Gross spend is surely the yardstick. Tells you what he has had through his hands in the expectation of building a good side.

As for the loan players - this policy obviously hasnt been worked very well by SAFC.

    This.

the bloke has spent tens of millions trying to build a good side. He has dabbled in a loan policy. We now find ourselves heading South league position wise and he wants another 7 or 8 players in the close season.

If I were the owner I'd be pretty pissed off with him.
