Buying shoes/boots online

Anyone had any good/bad experiences with this?

Particularly interested if you purchased from Clifford James or Samuel Windsor. They have some good offers, which seem too good to be true.

Sensible replies only please, looking to spend about/up to £100.

I bought two pairs of shoes from Samuel Windsor earlier this year...think it was 2 pairs for £100 or something similar...quick delivery and each pair came with this lot


The shoes are handmade and you can tell, they're not like what you'd buy in Debenhams or similar, I like that though, gives them some individuality...I'm not talking holes or scuffs but the odd loose thread or 'not quite cut perfectly' edge on a sole...

Can't go wrong for the price on shoes with leather soles etc...all goodyear welted so built to last

What I tend to do is find the shoes in a store somewhere and try them on. Then order them online elsewhere.
