So a bank created financial crisis has the net effect of a sell off of the peoples assets (assets the public has already paid for) which will be bought by banks and those that they control for a pittance and then they will start bleeding the public dry for profits. Wake up people.

The Banking/financial crisis has given the tories thec excuse to railroad through policies they wanted to anyway. they now just hark to "We are all skint so they is no alternative" as an excuse and it is swallowed hook line and sinker by their toadies.

They always were and always will be nasty odious toerags.

The roads are so badly maintained anyway, the amount of potholes that are obviously not being repaired even after you report them. I hit one and it's knackered two tyres and at £150 a pop it's fair to say I'm not happy.

Thats why we are going to allow private companies to run them. Privatisation is good for the country............ Those overpaid public sector workers with their gold plated pensions are the reason this countries gone to rack and ruin. bite

It's for new roads, not existing roads.
And why not, if we can't afford to build them let someone else, almost all the major countries already do this and have done for decades.
The existing toll road works fine.
