A690 last night

Absolute joke trying to get to Sunderland left Durham 5.30 didn't reach the roundabout at the A1 until 6.30 and only then because the police stopped the A1 traffic to let us out, pretty much all match traffic. Thought the Police were doing us a favour then found out the Everton Team coach was stuck behind us.

Got to Sunderland at 7.30 so the Everton coach must have arrived about then as well.

yeah I was stuck in it as well. The Rainton roadworks didn't help but once past the A1 roundabout was fine.

I avoided it on the way in, heard its been a nightmare since they put the roadworks up. Came back that way at 10:30ish and it was bad enough then.

they were stopping at the Eddison Hotel iirc.

Team popped up at around 7:05pm! lol

We nipped through gilesgate / belmont. It was bad but not as bad as the 690 looked
