    Do they (the creditor) run a credit check on you when applying for a Student Loan?

    If they do it demonstrates further discrimination against the poor.

    Indeed, but no history is not as bad as an adverse history which some ever so slightly older students (of which I am assured are considerable in number) may have gathered.
