    Default Poetry Corner

    I Hate People

See them walking down the street
Saying words like 'Mint' and 'Neat'
I feel a wave of disgust and bile
Their fashion sense is rather vile
Look at me I'll take your face off
I bet you bought those shit-kickers at ASOS
    Modelling themselves on JLS
I bet they've never even heard of Ellesse
Suppose it's time to be blunt
    Why is everyone a c*nt

    FIN.

    A shorter version:

    To know, know, know you
Is to love, love, love you
    And I don't

(probably copyright of some Liverpool poet of 1960s - Adrian Henri or Roger McGough perhaps)

    Might be.

    Today by SF2

    Today I was happy
Until I was cut up by an Audi driver.
'Imagine' was on radio 2 and
I was singing along, loving all of mankind.
But the beast in the German car spoilt my day.
Perhaps it was Hitler reincarnated or
Maybe just someone in a rush who listens to radio 1.
I now imagine an axe through his head.
